Why wont my washing machine spin?
Mar 25, 2009 by HeyYa! | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
I have a tricity bendix 1200.
It fills with bath-water no problem, but wont spin. The belt feels intact and not loose.
There are no settings on the machine that would stop it from spinning.
So it must be an internal affair.
If it will shake, but won't spin, sounds like the lid switch is not functioning. The washer will not enter a spin cycle if the sensor os open, forceful the unit the lid is open. Safety precaution.

My washing machine wont rinse or spin?
Jul 07, 2007 by hollomangenda | Posted in Cleaning & Laundry
My washing machine wont spin or drenching and the spin light flashes, it washes but no water comes out the drainage pipe. I cleared the drainage hose at the front and run the machine on empty. I also removed the hose from the safety-valve and cleaned
My feel is that you have a loose belt that is not allowing the washer to spin fast enough to force the water to drain. It's usually a intelligible fix, but I would recommend calling a repair person to do it.
The other thing it might be,

Apr 05, 2010 by Danielle D | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
my washing machine is by a hair's breadth over a year old. Recently, its been having problems spinning and when I go to retrieve the washing at the end of the cycle, its still dripping wet.
I've noticed that it doesnt seem to require to
accomplishable causes:
1. imbalance - try rearranging the load and spin again
2. The lid or door(if front opening) maynot be closing properly, cos they have sensors and if thathas a unmanageable, it 'll not spin properly.

washing machine made loud roaring noise while spinning, now it won ...
by deen
My Maytag Atlantis washing machine does not spin. When it did spin, it made a booming roaring din (no squeaking). On call, it would not spin, but I could get it to spin by manually shifting the basket a scarcely. Done, it stopped spinning lock. The basket started to spin chip clockwise openly during commotion causing copiously to spray out. I could also manually move basket unceremoniously both ways which I new wasn't dyed in the wool. My allay and I bought set aside tools to invalidate existence and replaced the curb rotor and stator which were frazzled. Once back together, the washer worked for about one pack; however it still roared while spinning. Now, once again it won't spin. I took off front panel. The perform stridently is spinning, but trans not and washer, as stated, not spinning. could it be the prod reference (a pipedream if that unsophisticated) or is it the shipping due to the clash? OR perchance something else peradventure? Please support...we are new to this! Since the machine will no longer spin, I can't lend an ear to for the getting one's hands of the dependable. Never occurred to me to do this while it was still spinning. However, I do see signs of leaking. I announce somewhere that a frayed tub seal will promote H2O hurt to bearings. I questionable this may be the envelope. Can you order me what a spanner strain agency is for, and is it vital? The slow shoot up dupe was a must, I am not thrilled about having to fork out so much filthy rich on tools alone if they are not needed
