can i use a honeywell/thermocouple 36in. on a whirlpool water heater?

you can use any characterize thermocouple as long as it is long enough that it will replace the old one...they are all basically the same and normally all of them have the same thread size to screw into gas valve...even if it is longer than the old one

YES, ANY To the fullest IS OK IF LONG ENOUGH. THEY ARE ALL THE SAME ON WATER HEATERS IF THE THREADS ARE THE SAME.

Thermocouples are typically universal. Chances are, Whirlpool used a Honeywell thermocouple when they built your heater.
The only difference in thermocouples is the length. As sustained as the thermocouple tube is long enough to reach you should be

I have a Buderus water heater, which is connected to my baseboard arousal. When I turn it on, it will run until a reset button pops out. The reset button is on this unit http://customer.honeywell.com/honeywell/ ProductInfo.aspx/R8184G1427
there is something sinful with oil burner..possible things are bad nozzle...bad ignition electrodes...bad ignition transformer...or bad photocelll....or bad minder relay...or bad oil pump...any one of these or combination of any of these will cause this

Purex tropical isle pool heater with a honeywell millivolt gas control valve?

on a tropical isle league heater do you have to have the pump running in order to light the pilot? The heater has not been ran in a few years so I pulled apart and cleaned the valve itself, getting gas into valve but the control does not want to light.
