Is it OK to connect a hot water heater with flexible stainless hoses in Mass?

Where it hurts depot sells these 18" flexible stainless hoses with threaded, teflon sealed ends. The stainless dirk is like a fine braid on the outside, i don't know what is inside. What are these hoses called and are they approved in Ma. for hot
The inspector should be sure the codes as that is his job to make sure the plumbers are installing them to code.
The hoses have a plastic hose or notice inside
if in doubts have the copper flex installed , here the local codes say we must

As prolonged as the hoses meet The National Standard Building Code requirements, you should be fine.

Certainly they be met by code. The stainless steel mesh on the outside is simply a reinforcing of the hose inside. It's somtimes simpler than vexing to exactly match up the two drop lines to the inlet and outlet of the new heater.

Was the water heater turned on before the tank was filled with water? If so, then one or both of the heating elements may have failed.

I am replacing a 50 gallon gas water heater and I have a questing Dialect anenst despite the 3/4" male to male connection that screws into the top of the heater for the cold and hot water connections. Should the male end that threads into the heater
Assuredly you need thread tape on the threads!!!!
