A startup sacrifice Groupon-style group discounts for solar panel roof installations is now looking to buckle with potential solar customers nationwide. On Monday One Block Off the Grid (1BOG) plans to expand access to its bundle solar discounts , installer recommendations and solar information services to another set of almost two dozen states across the U.S.

1BOG works by using the power of the circle to leverage a low-cost solar deal in certain areas. Similar to Groupon, 1BOG collects a pivotal mass of interested solar customers in a given area and uses the volume of people to decipher deals with local solar installers. Think of the service as a way for entire neighborhoods to go solar in one flatten swoop.

CEO and founder Dave Llorens explained to me in an interview that the idea of the service is to use the power of the platoon to shield consumers from fluctuating deals and to connect solar customers with reputable solar installers. Solar roof installations are a more new market in the U.S., and prices and quality can vary wildly.

how does a natural gas water heater works?

i have a SURN water heater and taxing to repair it. i changed the small leaking gas tube and installed a new thermocouple but the main gas tube doesn't effort. what is my problem?

First----Do you drive at a Zurn water heater instead of Surn?
Two----Is it a 2003 year model or newer?
Three---What was the initial quandary for you to begin repairing?

when you giddy the pilot light, and when you release the button , does the pilot light stay lit ? then improperly the gas knob to on, check temp setting, is main gas valve on/

When you express on your heater do you see a bright glow? If not than replaced your ignitor and this will correct your problem.

Don't disorder around with this one, If you play with fire, you may get burnt. Call a Pro or get a new heater. You could Die from a gas leak, or blow up your house.

1.Sensors feel when heat is available, and a pump circulates water through the collector.
2.Potable water from the main tank is circulated through a warm up exchanger in the drainback
