How much should it payment to install an electric lowboy water heater (including labor, permits, etc)? Thanks
i indict $250 for i nstallation only and the customer has to pay for the tank and everything else it ends up being somewhere in the range of 500 to 750 a little less if you are not required to have a permit which i never do

I'm not rather as expensive as D2, I charge $65/hour for installation, and it seldom takes more than 2 hours, unless there's cosmic repiping necessary to fit the new unit to the old pipes. I also charge an additional $40 to haul the old unit away if

We condign purchased a GE, 40 gallon water heater. It has been installed for about 90 minutes. It is full, and now should start heating, right? How extensive will it take before I can shower? We have no hot water coming from any faucet at this point.

I had one installed in my Florida condo about 10 years ago and never had a unruly. At the time I was president of the assoc. and had a larger one for the 3 washers and it is still doing the job. The thing is that the ones made today use micro processors
