Mobile Home Water Heater?

Does anyone be aware how much, and where I can pick up a heating element for my water heater? Home Depot, Lowes? Also, are they easy to install? It is a 87 Remmington Home if that helps at all. Thanks so much for your arrogate!

Look at the stamp of water heater. go to the Home Depot for example and see if they have a heating element for it before you do anything.
Does the water heater have an upper and a lower element or just one foundations? Usually the lower element

Any make good that sells plumbing supplies should have it. Most elements are interchangeable.

Those are decorous sources to buy replacement heater elements. Most are standard for all water heaters.
It is not difficult to replace the element. You have to turn off the power to entity at the breaker box and disconnect the wiring to the element.

You can only get elements for Mobile Home water heaters at a Mobile Home accumulation house. At least that is the way it is around where I live. You have to have a special wrench to remove & replace the element. But, the wrench is usually not very precious.

each of those upon should have the heating element u need.....turn off the power to the tank.....drain the tank using a garden hose using the bolted off valve on the bottom of the tank.....with the power off, remove the cover plate to the heating element

Yes, you can do this yourself. It's very relaxing. Home Depot and Lowe's both carry the elements and the removal and installation tool you'll need. To replace the fundamental (if your water heater has 2 elements-1 on the top and 1 on the bottom, replace them

you have leathery water, calcium causes hardness in water, calcium scales at 140 degrees F. this is why your water heater gets the brunt of the hierarchy. get a water softener.

Is there a assured kind I need to get? or would a water heater I buy at, lowes, work for a mobile home?
Are there any sites explaining how to install one? I can't find anyone in my area that will.
And cold showers suck =(
Either gas or stimulating..the size of the hot water heater does not matter as long as the place it is installed is big enough to hold it...make sure to size the width and the heigth of the present hot water heater..it is your choice of how many gallons

Don't mix up the man Dan (either 240 v incoming wire ) should be with a 240v circuit, bot the black & white are hot (carrying 120v each). Th calculate the wires on the water heater are both colored is because they are both hot legs (once connected)
