Apr 12, 2010 by mdurbin2 | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
Our water heater is leaking bad, water is not hot from tap. my confusion is is it bad for animals to drink the water that is leaking form the water heater?
Thanks guy's for the reply, I will turn off the water to it!! It isn't that old, nothing
No, the water that leaks from the water heater is well-founded water.
If the water heater is not working, turn the water valve that feeds it off. You will not have any hot water, but you won't have water going down the drain.

Not unsafe, animals have good sense. It's a major risk of flooding and damaging your home though.

The water is proper enough, it's certainly no worse than drinking from a mud puddle.

Why is my water heater leaking water via the copper piping?
Oct 18, 2009 by Elaine | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
I had a plumber make good on my water heater 6 months ago. Ever since that, I keep getting a water leak in my garage. It seems to be coming from a copper pipe extending from the top of the heater. It an open ended line, has no cover or end cap. Why is
Yeah, it most disposed to has to do with your relief valve that needs to be replaced. Who's your plumber? You should probably consider getting a new one. Call around for free estimates in getting another plumber to fix this for you.

How do I repair my leaking water heater?

Now how do I conduit a flood in my laundry room from the leaking hot water heater???????
When they aperture they usually should be replaced. I had one I took to have welded faulty seam, next time I will replace too much time and feat. If it is not leaking on a seam they do make plugs. You drill hole where leak is, use bolt with rubber washer.
